For the introduction of the system will create a color design color circle of 12 parts, based on the primary colors – yellow, red and blue. As is well known, a person with normal vision can detect red, having neither bluish or yellowish; Yellow – having neither bluish or reddish tones, and blue, having neither greenish or reddish. Thus, examining each color, it should be considered on a neutral gray background.

The main colors should be defined as precisely as possible. The three primary colors of the first order placed in an equilateral triangle, so that was at the top of the yellow, red and blue at the bottom right – bottom left. Then, the triangle fits into a circle and built on its basis an equilateral hexagon. The isosceles triangles formed we put three mixed colors, each of which consists of two primary colors, and thus obtain, the color of the second order:

Yellow + Red = Orange
Yellow + Blue = Green
Red + blue = purple.

All second order colors have to be mixed very carefully. They should not lean to any of its components. Remember that this is not an easy task – to get secondary colors through mixing them. Orange should be neither too red or too yellow, and purple – neither too red nor too blue. Then, at some distance from the first round, we draw a different and divide between them obtained ring into twelve equal parts, placing the primary and secondary colors according to their location and leaving the flowers between each blank sector. These blank segment color input third order, each of which is created through the mixing of colors first and second order, and we get:

Yellow + Orange = yellow-orange
Red + Orange = red-orange
Red + purple = red-violet
Blue + Purple = blue-violet
Blue + green = blue-green
Yellow + Green = yellow-green.

Thus, there is the right color circle of twelve colors in which each color has its own unchanging place, and their sequence is of the same order as in the rainbow or in the natural spectrum.

Isaac Newton in his time was the vicious circle of color, to which he added to the spectral color no purple color, which increased the total of its design. In our circle of twelve colors have equal lengths, so colors which occupy diametrically opposite locations with respect to each other, are complementary. This system makes it possible to instantly and precisely to imagine all twelve colors and is easy to place in between all their variations. I think that artists would be a waste of time to engage in drawing the color circle of 24 or 100 colors. And what an artist can unaided clearly imagine, for example, 83 gradation color circle, divided into 100 pieces?

As our understanding of color are not very accurate, it is useless to discuss the matter. And you just need to see twelve colors with the same certainty with which the musician hears his twelve tone scale. Delacroix was attached to one of the walls of his studio color wheel, on which some of each color have been given all the combinations possible with this color. Impressionists, Cezanne, Van Gogh, Signac, Seurat and other artists Delacroix valued as an outstanding colorist. And that Delacroix, Cezanne and not considered the founder of the construction works on the basis of objective color logical laws, thus allowing to achieve a higher degree of order and justice.
